    Postponed Events

    Annual Dinner, Wednesday 27th May 2020, The Chesterfield, Mayfair

    It is with regret that we have had to postpone this year’s Annual Dinner. We had arranged an exciting guest list, some of whom had already accepted. As we had already paid 50% of the booking to the hotel, as the contract required, we are very grateful to The Chesterfield, Mayfair, who have agreed to carry forward our payment to a revised date sometime in the next twelve months. Consequently, we will not be reimbursing any monies you have paid at this stage. If the new date, when arranged, doesn’t work for you, we will reimburse at that stage. 

    Visit to the Royal Ballet Upper School, Tuesday 28th April 2020 at 09.30 - 16.00

    As you will have anticipated, after consulting The Royal Ballet School and the Chair of London Ballet Circle, we have agreed to postpone our annual visit to the Upper School. We hope to arrange a visit later in the year. So, we will keep all payments until a new date is arranged. If you are unable to attend on the new date you can either ask for a refund or give it as a donation to the School. Our annual awards to Royal Ballet School students will be made, as usual, during the Summer term. 

    Annual visit to Birmingham Royal Ballet and Elmhurst Ballet School, 25 - 26 June 2020

    As this visit was the furthest in the future of our organised events, we were unsure what to do. However, as the first half of our payment to the hotel had to be made soon, with regret, we decided to cancel this visit. We will try to arrange an alternative visit earlier than usual next season. Our annual award to an Elmhurst Ballet School student will be presented by the School’s Artistic Director Robert Parker in our absence.

    Most of you, who had booked this visit, had recently paid for the trip. If you sent a cheque, we will return it along with the cheque for your deposit. If you made a bank transfer, we will send back your deposit cheque plus a cheque from the Association for the transfer. (We don’t have electronic banking so can’t make a transfer) If you had only paid the deposit, we will send this cheque back. It may take some time to process this as we may need a new cheque book, so please be patient.
